Dodging a bullet

I'm suppose to be nestled in a sleeping bag in a 10 X 10 tent out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of hyperactive Cub Scouts right now. Well, not the middle of nowhere. Just the middle of Brea which is the next town over. Instead, I'm chilling on my sofa with my feet propped up and my laptop on my lap. How did I dodge that bullet you ask? Well, I have an 8 month old and the temperature dropped significantly this evening. What kind of mother would I be if I took my little one out into swine flu land on a night like tonight? It was tough but someone had to do it. ;-)
